SAVE YOUR DREAMS FROM FALLING APART NOW BY AVOIDING THESE NAGATIVE VIBES THAT MAY GEOPARDIZE YOUR LIBERTY
The only form of punishment for committing a crime under the Criminal Code art. 411, Though is classified as an offense of less danger to society, but is a deprivation of liberty, which is contrary to the principles of criminal law and criminal responsibility – justice and humanism. At the same time, even for the more serious offenses committed by persons sentenced to imprisonment – theft, robbery, causing less grievous bodily harm, — provide for the imposition of a milder penalty: a fine, forced labor, or restrictions on freedom.
Focused on people sentenced to death in murder cases who have not been freed despite significant evidence of innocence. We found systemic flaws in death penalty prosecutions that send innocent people to death — and identified solutions that might encourage stronger convictions, reduce bias, and avoid errors that can take decades to remedy.
God hates hands that shed innocent blood. There are times when killing is acceptable for example, a police officer in a self-defense situation, but there are times when innocent people get killed as well. This is one of the many reasons why cannibalism and abortion is a grave offense. It’s murdering an innocent human.
Many times corrupt police officers abuse their power and kill the innocent and try to cover it up. The same goes to the government. Sometimes killing is ok, but Christians are to never desire killing. We must not retaliate or in anger murder someone. Murderers will not enter into Heaven.
WHAT GOD SAID ABOUT KILLING INNOCENT PEOPLE
- Deuteronomy 27:25 “Cursed is anyone who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person.” Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
- Proverbs 17:15 He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the LORD.
- Psalm 106:38 They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood
ABSTRACT: Focusing on Nigeria in West Africa
In the recent years, Nigeria has been experiencing recurrent killings of innocent lives by Fulani herdsmen. Aside the unlawful killings, houses and other property are been damaged or burnt. Those killed included women and children. Noteworthy, the Fulani herdsmen belong to a distinct ethnic group in Nigeria and are mainly a nomadic group of cattle rearers who move from place to place to graze their cattle. This cultural and long-standing practice of cattle grazing did not create any significant problem in the past, but in recent years due to a combination of factors, including population explosion, poverty, and climate change.
The grazing activities of the herdsmen have become a source of conflict between them and farmers. Whatever may be the reason for the attacks, the truth is that the attacks carry some legal implications. The possible criminal charges the attackers may be liable to include murder, assault, terrorism, and genocide. From the angle of civil law, they may also be liable to trespass to land and to the person. This article suggests that the federal government should arrest and prosecute the attackers under relevant criminal provisions in the country immediately. Furthermore, affected persons and states should pursue possible civil actions in the courts. Both approaches would help to curb the recurrent Fulani herdsmen attacks in Nigeria.
THE BOTTOM LINE
There is now little or no more rule of law in our society – innocent lives are unlawfully taken on daily basis yet nothing is been done to end it. We see politicians priding in their lawlessness and religious leaders biased over power and money – just like the Saviour Jesus said “Nations will rise against Nations – Kingdoms against Kingdoms – but to a believer, there is no cause for alarm, only prayers and supplications for our dear world will bring a lasting peace”
“Thousands shall fall by your right hand, and ten thousand – yet no harm will come nigh you”.
